On January 20, 2003 we lost our wonderful companion, Vanna,
to cancer. Those of you who know us know that Vanna was our
second Samoyed and the mother of Emmy and Jesse, and, the
grandmother of Peaches. It is hard to imagine the impact Vanna's
death has had on us all. Along with being one of the most
amazing creatures we have encountered, she was the Grand Dame of
the Tucker Sammy household. We are all somewhat lost without
her, especially Peaches who was Vanna's constant playmate and
companion.
We acquired our "new" Country Coach, a 2003 40' Intrigue,
pictured on our home page. We have had it for almost eight years
now and have almost 98,000 miles on it. We lived in it from the
end of May 2003 until December 2005. We spent the summer of 2003
in the southeast (Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and
later to Illinois) and we can tell you that the generator and
the a/c's work wonderfully.
We also spent the major portion of the winter (November
through February) in Oregon and have finally discovered what it
means to have a water tight coach.
We went from there to Tucson for the CCI rally then on to
Albuquerque for the FMCA rally and finally to Yuma for one month
of life in the warm sun. Oh how wonderful!
