To The Waltons

We left Mike and Lynn's on Monday after a great weekend with them and traveled to the Walton ranch in LynchBurg, VA. The trip took us four days. We had to have our coach repaired at Buddy Gregg's in Knoxville. We lost yet another ride height valve (notice us listing to port) just after having dinner with Mike and Paula Mattson in Crossville, TN.

It is amazing how much work has happened on the Walton ranch since we were there last year. They have cleared more land, cut many trees and have continued to make their home a wonderful place to visit, and, I'm sure, to live.

This is a view from the road. Last year you could hardly see the house from the road.

One of the main events during our stay in Lynchburg was to help Drew and Genida celebrate their 60th anniversary. The accompanying pictures were taken during that celebration. A special thanks to Sandra for the outstanding job she did orchestrating the event. She kept us all very busy and very entertained.  Well done Sandra!

Our next stops were to the Lynchburg Confederate Cemetary, Poplar Forrest and Montecello. The following pictures were taken during those visits.
